Lenten Focus Day #33

Lenten Focus : Forty-Three Days of Dead Weight Excavation

43 straight days of 90-minute sessions : Daily discipline dissolves overwhelm!

Tuesday, Day #27:

Happy St Patrick’s Day 🍀✨

This defines my day:
Out of clutter, find simplicity.
— Albert Einstein

Wednesday, Day #28:

Trying to loosely follow the new schedule -bascially trying to returning to early wake-ups.

Future schedule:
Early morning: movement – for now .. will change to bjj + gym time later
Later morning: Storage unit lent tasks .. will change to Live Shopping on Whatnot
Afternoons: Eat, pack, ship, list
Late afternoons: Live stream Creative
Evening: Me time. Reading a paperbook —-> sleep.

Thursday, Day #29:

Today marked a shift.

What started as a Lenten sacrifice has begun shaping a cool daily rhythm… one that supports my return to the mats and toward what’s next in my journey. I didn’t realize at the start how much this Lenten Focus would influence my future, but I’m starting to see it now. Pretty cool.

Friday, Day #30

Found a laminator I bought years ago.

It was an odd purchase for me. I’m not an impulse buyer… but it was sitting on an Aldi Finds shelf about five years ago, and for some weird reason I thought, “I might need this someday.” I bought it, really didn’t need it… and then promptly forgot about it.

Life moved on.

About a week ago, I happened to put buying a laminator on my “to-buy” list while writing tah-do’s for my next phase.

When I found the laminator at the bottom of a bag today… it tickled me. My rare impulse buy explained.

Thank you, past self. LOL!

Saturday, Day #31

Starting to make notes and tentatively scheduling shows beginning April 3rd – after my Lenten Focus.

It’s getting a bit harder to stay locked into this daily focus… there’s this feeling of, “Yes, this works… alright, next!”

Sunday, Day #32

I piled everything that needs to be listed into one corner. There’s a bin on the bottom, then stacks of items piled on top of each other… it’s as tall as me.

It looks like a lot, but compared to what’s already been done, it’s actually minimal.

And remember: after listing, we organize the unit into – Oooo, pretty!

Well, maybe not pretty – more – Oooo, organized!

“We” being me… with ChatGPT chiming in occasionally and politely absorbing my verbal data-dumps so the rest of the world doesn’t have to.

Monday, Day #33

Still doing my 90 minutes.

Currently tweaking my future BJJ/business schedule.

Not looking forward to trying on my gi pants tomorrow…
My tush has definitely… expanded… courtesy of the injury.

I’ll be fine. Not upset. Just… gahhh. It sucks.

Have a fantastic week!
-Kimberly
